One of the pilots I talked to when I was on Brave usually flew low level ships. I rememberĀ  one occasion I saw him using VNI but usually he was in a trasher or an anti frigate hurricane. In a conversation ,the topic that I lost five +5 implants came up, and he commented that it was only 20m SP, and that he was configured with +4 from Cybernetics and enough to use a procurer with Barge IV, but that he was always Alpha, because there was nothing he could train like Alpha. No interest in the omega activities. For the Omega it implied above all the chance to use two pilots at the same time, butĀ  for his taste Eve is a game that punished the growth in ships, and sometimes he activated Omega but mainly for some offer and he used it to train a trader in the same account and sell the surplus of his two characters.

My 20m pilot is a relatively decent miner with a lot of points he had in repro that I haven’t assigned. I don’t really like the idea of mining, especially due to the current lack of ISOGEN and having little time for the game, for now I like to go in with the punisher and do quiet firestorm zero, when I finish them I’ll pilot some rifters with gamma zero. With the black monday sale I used 5000 of my 5500 Plex, and I have specific plans for three alpha pilots that I create that day, the idea with them was to train them on specific ships, basically porpoise, confessor / stealth bomber / trasher and a market character and construction.

At the moment I see much more sense in having a perfect alpha than keeping my miner. On the Character Bazaar forum they aren’t paying a lot for characters like mine, and I doubt that would pay for a year of training, which is roughly what it takes to be a perfect alpha. I don’t see any point in using my 20b on that either, because it’s a decision that if I’m wrong it would be difficult to remedy, and also the game time I have daily is limited. With the exception of the punisher pilot and the main one, the others are babies with less than 2m points, so training doesn’t make much sense if they don’t know the basics. However, what makes the most sense is to use those MCTs on the three omega pilots I mentioned when they’re ready, and make Taska Mastar a perfect alpha. Which implies a subscription of six months or a year when she passes five million points and training for now everything that is not int/mem or per/wil, so in the end the best thing is for what I see left for him. Ending in a perfect alpha per/wil which is the greatest, of which there is more to spend skillpoints, and do like that pilot who only had +4 cybernetics and enough for Barge IV. Adjusting a little you can put 5 planets of IP.
